The Imola weekend was not very lucky for the Italian team. The Chevrolet Lumina joined the second round of Superstars Series after the excellent third place in the opening round at Monza.

Started from the third row of the grid Francesco Sini was able to catch a good fourth place in race 1 after a thrilling duel with former Formula 1 driver Tonio Liuzzi.
